I want to do MBBS from NEIGRIHMS, so I want to know eligibility for NEIGRIHMS entrance exam?

Following is NEIGRIHMS Entrance exam eligibility:

Nationality : Applicant must be a Resident Indian National and Permanent Resident / Domicile of one of the 8 ( Eight ) Northeastern states of India including Sikkim.

Candidate should have completed their course in the schools located in India in the preceding two years.

He / She has completed age of 17 years at the time of admission

NEIGRIHMS conducts entrance exam for admission in MBBS program.

Eligibility:
Applicant must be a Resident Indian National and Permanent Resident / Domicile of one of the 8 ( Eight ) Northeastern states of India including Sikkim.
He/She should have studied and completed 10+2 in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English individually and must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry, Biology at the qualifying examination in the schools located in India in the preceding two years.

The age of the candidate should have 17 year at the time of the admission.

Prospectus/Application Form:
The Prospectus cum Application Form can be downloaded from the official website of the institute or obtained personally from NEIGRIHMS Counter from the first week of March, 2012 against the payment of required fees.


Syllabus/pattern:
In entrance exam syllabus is based on these subjects.
Physics
Chemistry
Botany
Zoology
English

There will be total 200 questions. All the questions will be objective type. Duration of Examination shall be of three Hours.There is No Negative Marking. Exam is conduct only in English medium.

The exam syllabus will cover the topics from 10+2 standard.
Tentative dates:-
Exam Date: After third week of July, 2013
Last date for submitting the application form: From the second week of April, 2013


Exam Centres:
The Examination will be conducted in Shillong and examination centre will be shown in the respective Admit Cards.

The North Eastern Indira Gandhi Regional Institute of Health and Medical Sciences is an autonomous Postgraduate Medical Institute located in Shillong.

It provides B.Sc Nursing course to the applicant which is of the 4 year time duration.

Eligibility
• Applicants are required to be Indian citizens only.

• Applicants must pass 10+2 or its equivalent from any of the recognized educational boards in India such as AISCE, ICSE, CBSE, SSC or HSCE with 45% marks in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English.

• Applicants appearing in 10+2 in this academic year can also apply for this entrance examination.

• It is necessary that all the candidates should be medically fit.

Applicants need to have lower age limit of 17 years while upper age limit of 25 years

Exam Pattern:
BSc Nursing question paper will constitutes of the syllabus relevant to 10+2 course that is Chemistry, Physics, Biology and English.

The paper is of 100 marks with 4 hours time duration.

Questions will be of multiple choices only.

• Applications are available from the 1st week of May 2015.

• Last day for receipt of application form is in the 1st week of June 2015.

• Examination will be held in the 3rd week of June 2015.
