In which exam I have to appear either in NEET-UG or KET for getting admission in a college in india for MBBS course ?

National Eligibility cum Entrance Test( NEET-UG) is a qualifying entrance examination in India for students who want to study any graduate medical course (MBBS), dental course (BDS) in government or private medical colleges in India.

KCET Entrance Exam is conducted by the Karnataka University . this exam is conducted for candidates who are interested to get admission in medical, engineering and dental professional undergraduate programs.

If you are resident of Karnataka you can appear in both NEET and KCET exam .

Through KECT exam you can get admission in a medical college which located in Karnataka. And through NEET UG exam a candidate can apply for admission in any college in India .

Common Eligibility for both exams:

Passed XII or equivalent exam .

Secure 50% for General category student.

40% for SC/ST/OBC category student in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together .

Candidate must pass Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English subjects individually.
