Significance of entrepreneur in economic development. Economic, social and psychological need for entrepreneurship. Characteristics, qualities and pre-requisites of an entrepreneur. UNIT-II Starting a new enterprise: Methods and procedures to start and expand ones own business, life cycle of a new business & relationship with large enterprises.
