My home town is in Kolkata, & I want to do BHMS from National Institute of Homoeopathy Kolkata, so tell me what is the required eligibility criteria for getting admission in BHMS from NUH & also give NUH contact details & location map???

The National Institute Of Homoeopathy Calcutta offers Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine and Surgery B.H.M.S. course recognized by the Central Council of Homoeopathy. BHMS Course Duration 5 years Seats - Total 93 (Ninety Three) seats are available for admission to the 5 years B.H.M.S. Degree Course at NIH Eligibility- 10+2 science stream with at least five subjects including English, Physics, Chemistry; Biology and passed all the subjects individually with at least 50% marks (45% for SC & ST candidates). The candidate must have attained or will attain the age of 17 years but not crossed age of 25 years Admission Test- The All India Written Competitive Test (Admission Test) will be conducted by the Institute. The Admission Test will be of three hours duration and will have one paper consisting of four parts viz., A, B, C and D. The pattern of questions will be multiple choice (single correct answer) type with 200 questions Biology (60 questions), Physics (60 questions), Chemistry (60 questions) and General Knowledge (20 questions). There will be negative markings for wrong answers. The General standard of the Admission Test will be that of 12th Class under 10+2 schemes or an equivalent examination as per Indian Standards. Answer script shall be on OMR sheet. Entrance Test and evaluation shall be conducted through Optical Mark Recognition (OMR) system.
