National Power Training Institute (NPTI), Guwahati has Invited Applications for Admission to Post Graduate Diploma Course in Operation and Maintenance of Transmission & Distribution System (26 Weeks) for the year 2016

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must Bachelor of Engineering or equivalent in “Electrical” or “Electrical & Electronics” or “Power Engineering”

Age limit: No Age Limit

Selection Criteria

Percentage of marks obtained in B.E or equivalent examination as per University Norms

No. of Seats: 60 (Sixty only); few seats are reserved for sponsored category

Reservation: Reservation for SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer) & PH will be as per Govt. norms in the non- sponsored category

Sponsored Candidates:

Candidates sponsored by their employer will be admitted directly; they will have to submit original sponsorship letter at the time of admission

Fees Details


Course Fee (non-sponsored Category): Rs 1,65,300/-

Course Fee (sponsored Category): Rs 2,16,600/-

Application Form Fee:
Rs.570/- (Rs.500 plus Service tax @14.00%)

The 1st Installment (Rs 1,07,530/- inclusive of all for non-sponsored candidate) in the form of DD should be paid at the time of admission. The detailed fees structure including service tax may be seen from website of this Institute
