Research must be conducted in one of the following areas: • Clinical Research • Pediatric Research • Health Disparities Research • Contraception and Infertility Research • Clinical Research • Clinical Research for Doctors from a Disadvantaged Background • AIDS Research Medical Professionals Eligible for NIH Loan Repayment: To be eligible for NIH loan repayment, a medical professional must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident and hold one of the following doctoral degrees: • M.D. • Psy.D. • D.O. • D.M.D. • D.P.M. • D.C. • N.D. Eligible Loans: The NIH Loan Repayment program includes most Federal, state, and even private (commercial) student loans. |
