The National fire Service College is an institution under Ministry of Home affairs, Government of India, which is purely funded by the government of India, and also affiliated to RTM Nagpur University, and University registered under section 3 of the UGC Act 1956. B.E ( Fire Engineering ) course requires strenuous fire ground operation involving physical activities, training of various natures, and that too in uniform, the applicant are required to possess specific medical and physical standards. Eligibility Criteria: One should be Indian National and should have passed the (Std. XII) examination of any State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent examination with subjects English, Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry/ Biotechnology /Biology/ Technical Vocational subject and Secured minimum 45% marks (minimum 40% marks, for SC/ST/OBC categories) in the subjects Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry/Biotechnology /Biology/ Technical Vocational subject added together and Obtained All India Rank in JEE (Main) (paper 1) given by CBSE Physical and Medical Standard : Physical Standard : (a) For Male :- Minimum Height : 165 cms.(Relaxable by 5 cms in the case of Garhwalls, Assamese Gorkha and member of the Schedule Tribes.) Chest : 81 cms. Unexpanded and 86 cms. Expanded (Fully expanded with minimum of 5 cms Expansion) Weight : min. 50 kgs. (b) For Female Minimum Height : 157 .(Relaxable by 2.5 cms in the case of Garhwalls, Assamese Gorkha and member of the Schedule Tribes.) Weight : min. 46 kgs. Medical Standard : Both for Male and Female a) Visual : Better eye ā 6/6 without aid (Eligible vision ā 6/6 only) Worse eye ā 6/12 b) Colour Vision :- no colour blindness. c) One must not have knock-knee, flat foot, squint eyes and stammering. One must be in good mental and bodily health and free from any physical defect. |
