National Defense Academy Exam is for selection of candidates in Army, Navy or Air Force. It is two tier selection exam, its written test is conducted by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) and Personality/Intelligence Test by SSB (Services Selection Board).

Preparation Tips for NDA Exam:

Make sure that you have the detailed and correct syllabus.

Prepare a schedule for your preparation and include topics from both papers

Use NCERT books

Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry sections should be prepared from Class 12th books and Biology, Geography, History, Political Science, and Economics should be prepared up to Class 10th level

Study mathematics concepts and application.

Improve approximation and calculation skills

Keep a quick revision sheet of mathematics points and formulae.


NDA Exam Paper Pattern:
NDA Examination consists of 2 Papers, Mathematics (300 marks) and General Ability Test (600 marks) with objective type questions.

Duration for each Paper: 2 ½ hours
Negative marking is applicable.


Syllabus:

Paper I- Mathematics: Algebra, Matrices and Determinants, Trigonometry, Analytical Geometry of two and three dimensions, Differential Calculus, Integral Calculus and Differential Equations, Vector Algebra, Statistics and Probability
