Can you tell me about the application process for admission in Executive Master in Business Administration (EMBA) program offered by W. P. Carey School of Business?

Through a comprehensive business curriculum, the Executive Master in Business Administration (EMBA) program offered by W. P. Carey School of Business will expand leadership skills and help immediately impact ones organization.

Over the course of the two-year program, one will develop a strategic perspective and learn how policy shapes business decisions, and how companies half a world away can impact ones organization.

Application Process

To complete the ASU online application, one needs to provide the following information:

Personal info contact details, birth date, citizenship, Social Security number
Current resume and essay question responses
Recommenders contact information: name, affiliation, and work email address of an individual who can answer questions about your personal qualities, professional success, career aspirations, and ability to perform in a graduate program
Application fee $70 domestic students; $90 international students
Applications will not be processed until the fee is received and fees are non-refundable.

Essay questions
Help the admissions committee learn more about one, ones background and goals. These short essay questions help to evaluate students beyond the scores and GPA requirements.

Official transcripts
If one attended ASU, one does not need to submit ASU transcripts. Otherwise, one must have one set of official transcripts from every college and university from which one earned a bachelors degree or higher sent to ASU Graduate College. ASU accepts official transcripts that are original academic credentials issued by the registrar of the institution attended, bearing the original raised or colored seal of the institution and the signature of ones institution's registrar, academic official, or recognized international organization.

International Students
The application process for international students is the same as for domestic students, with the exception of submitting proof of English proficiency (for students whose native language is not English).

After admission, one will also be also required to obtain a U.S. visa, which includes submitting a graduate financial guarantee.

All international transcripts must be submitted in their original language accompanied by an official English translation. Translations must be literal, complete versions of the originals and must be translated by a university, government official or official translation service. One may not complete your own translation. Photocopies and notarized transcripts are not acceptable.
