I have completed Bsc in biology and now I want to do Msc in microbiology from Mysore University so please tell me about last date of application form, admission procedure, entrance examination procedure and eligibility?

The Mysore University PG Entrance Exam is conducted by the University for admission in various Post-Graduate Degree Courses.

Mysore University M.Sc Eligibility-

Candidates must have B.Sc in a concerned discipline or any equivalent examination from recognised University.

Mysore University PG Exam 2018 dates-

Online date of submission of Application Form 18 May 2018

Last date for submission of Application Form 02 Jun 2018

Entrance Exam 18 to 22 Jun 2018

Application Fee

The payment of fees shall be through ON-LINE / E-Payment only with SBI. Candidates (irrespective of category) have to pay separately aRs.500/-(Rupees Five hundred only) for entrance examination for each course.

Scheme of Examination

Group 1 : Zoology, Applied Zoology, Botany, Bio-Technology, MicroBiology, Genetics, Sericulture and Seri Biotechnology, Bio-Chemistry, Molecular Biology. Instruction to the candidate

Question paper shall consist of 100 questions of MCQ type.

The candidate has to answer any 50 questions.

Each correct answer carries one mark.

There will be no negative marking.

In case candidate answers more than the required 50 questions, the first 50 questions attempted will be evaluated.

Total maximum marks: 50, Duration: 90 min.
