As you are asking about the Mysore University KCET so I want to tell you that Mysore University conducts the exam named KSET.

I think you typed wrong it is KSET not KCET.

I am providing you the details of the KSET exam below.

Eligibility:

1. Applicants who secured 53% in master’s degree or equivalent examination from recognised university are eligible.

2. Applicants who are applying for the Masters degree are also eligible for the test.

3. Applicants must appear KSET examination in their significant subject of their post-graduation only.

Age Limit:

There is no age limit for the KSET test.

Fee details:

Category Fee
1. General Rs. 1000/-
2. Cat-IIA, IIB, IIIA, IIIB Rs. 800/-
3. Cat-I, SC, ST, PWD(VH/PH) Rs. 500/-

Exam Paper:

Paper-I: General Paper is on Teaching and Aptitude
Paper-II: Subject Paper
Paper-III: Subject paper (in depth questions)

There will be no negative marking in the test.

The Karnataka State Eligibility Test (KSET) Center, University of Mysore, Mysore is a Nodal Agency recognized by the UGC, New Delhi for conducting the Karnataka State Eligibility Test (KSET) for lectureship/Assistant Professor since 2010.

Eligibility:

Candidates who secured 53% in master’s degree or equivalent examination from recognised university are eligible.

Those who are applying for the Masters Degree candidates are also eligible for the test.

Candidates must appear KSET examination in their significant subject of their post-graduation only.

Age:
There is no age limit for the KSET test.

This center is also one of the Nodal centers in Karnataka for conducting UGC-NET examination twice a year.

Currently KSET is conducting test in 32 subjects at eleven (11) Nodal Centers spread across the Karnataka State.
