I have passed B.Sc with 72.28 percentages. Now I am moving towards the M.Sc. Geography course. Does Department of Geography at Mysore University offer the M.Sc. Geography course? If yes, then is there any entrance exam for admission in Mysore University?

The Department of Studies in Geography of University of Mysore was started in the year 1959-60.

This is the first and the oldest Geography department in Karnataka and second in the whole of South India, Initially, the department was situated at Maharajas College and later shifted to Manasagangotri, Campus in the year 1962-63.

Eligibility: BA/BSc. Geography completed

M.Sc. GIS-

Eligibility: BA/BSc. Geography completed and Any Degree

M. Phil Geography-

Eligibility: M.Sc. Geography completed

Ph. D. Geography-
