Academic Staff College, University of Mysore was established in July 1987
Located on the banks of Kukkarahalli Lake amidst picturesque surroundings

It offers following programs:
The Orientation Programme will be of four weeks duration (28 days), with minimum of 24 working days (excluding Sundays) and 144 contact hours (six hours a day).

The Refresher Course will be of three weeks duration (21 days), with minimum of 18 working days (excluding Sundays) and 108 contact hours (six hours a day).

Other Programmes will be for a period of 2-6 days duration.

Facilities:
The Centre has infrastructural facilities with two lecture halls with modern teaching aids, Computer Laboratory, Wi-Fi connectivity.
The Academic Staff College has a full-fledged staff.
There is also a separate UGC-Academic Staff College Guest House with Wi-Fi connection for the use of participants and resource persons.
The University (with its own funds) has taken steps to construct a class-room-cum-mini-auditorium with state-of-the-art facility, and to modernize the existing infrastructure facilities.
