Muffakham Jah College of Engineering and Technology (MJCET) offers B.E (Bachelor of Engineering) programs in Civil Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electronics And Instrumentation Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in Production Engineering.


Since it is a Muslim minority college 75% of the seats are reserved for Muslims who appear and qualify in the state-level Engineering and Medical Common Entrance Test (EAMCET), the remaining 25% seats are filled by the College Management and NRI (Non-resident Indian) candidates.


Eligibility criteria for B.E. (All Courses)


One must possess a minimum qualification 10 + 2 with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry (MPC) as optional subjects

One belonging to OC and BC must have secured 50% aggregate in 10 + 2 level and 45% in optional subjects (MPC)

One belonging to Reserved Category, Schedule Caste and Schedule Tribe must have secured 45% aggregate and 40% in optional subjects (MPC).

One should also have qualified in Engineering and Medical Common Entrance Test (EAMCET) conducted by Government of Telengana.

One must fulfil the criteria of Local /Non-local as per the Presidential order of 1963. To be recognized as local, one must have studied for 4 Consecutive years in the state of Telangana from the preceding academic year.


Criteria of Allotment of Seats:

70% of the seats are allotted by the Convener EAMCET, Government of Telengana through Single window -1.

30% of the seats are allotted by the college Management under management quota as per rules and regulations laid down by the government of Telengana.
