The admission procedure for B.Ed course at Mumbai University is based on the CET test entranced exam.

The total marks for the entrance examination will be 100 and the duration of the examination will be of 90 minutes.

The questions will be objective type, covering (i) General Mental Ability, (ii) General Knowledge, (ii) General English, (iv) Broad aspects of general education and special education.

Selection will be made in the order of merit.

Eligibility:
Candidates must have passed a Bachelor’s degree examination of any University recognized with a minimum of 45% marks in the aggregate at the Bachelor’s degree examination and must have offered subjects relating to secondary/Higher Secondary level as per the requirements laid down by the State Government in that regard.

Minimum Admission Requirement

A candidate must have passed a Bachelor degree exam of this University or any other University recognized as equivalent thereto with a minimum of 45% marks in the aggregate at the Bachelor degree exam and must have offered subjects relating to secondary/Higher Secondary level as per the requirements laid down by the State Government in that regard.

Relaxation of the minimum percentage of marks at the Bachelor degree exam for candidates from Reserved Categories and serving teachers is as per State Government rules.

Applicants completed graduation or post graduation with 50% (45% for ST, SC, OBC, VJNT Applicants) marks from any recognized University are eligible to apply.
