The MSBOA All-State program was established in the 2005 - 06 school year.

Five ensembles are selected from recorded auditions:

Middle School String Orchestra
Middle School Band
High School Full Orchestra
High School Band and
High School Jazz Ensemble

On February 3, 1934 the Southeastern Michigan Band and Orchestra Association (MSBOA) was formed.
