Is there any entrance exam which I need to give for taking admission in Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) course offered by MS or Manonmaniam Sundaranar University? Provide me the syllabus and paper pattern of course of the University?

As per my knowledge, there is no entrance exam for get admission in Bachelor in Education (B. Ed) Program offered by Manonmaniam Sundaranar University.

Admission Procedures
Admission shall be made as per the norms of NCTE, Tamil Nadu State Government/ Manonmaniam Sundaranar University.

The University will send call letters to all the provisionally selected candidates for B. Ed Admission and allotment of Study Centres will be made through Pre-Admission Counselling.

Counselling will be conducted at Manonmaniam Sundaranar University Campus. One who does not report themselves on the day of the Pre-Admission Counselling session will lose the claim for a seat.

Eligibility Criteria

1. Trained in-service teachers in elementary education.

2. One who has completed a NCTE recognized teacher education programme through face-to-face mode.

3. The school teachers with Bachelor degree in Tamil/ English/ Mathematics/ Physics/ Chemistry/ Botany/ Zoology/ History/ Geography/ Computer Science or a Post- Graduate degree in Economics/ Commerce/ Home Science.

4. One should have undergone 10+2+3 or 11+1+3 (15) pattern of study and passed the qualifying exam conducted by the respective State Board or CBSE or any other recognized Board of exam/ and UG Degree Exam of the UGC recognized Universities in any one of the school subjects offered by Directorate of School Education at the Secondary / Higher Secondary Education level.

5. However, one not qualified in XII exam or PUC but possessing 2 Years Bachelor Preparatory Programme Certificate / Foundation Course / 2 Years Diploma Course conducted by State Government/ recognized Universities and qualified with 3 years UG Degree course are also considered eligible.

6. One who has passed part III under Triple Major System in UG Degree is eligible to take one of the three subjects only as optional II. The aggregate marks of all the three subjects will be considered for admission.

7. One who has qualified in PG Degree (5 Years Integrated Course) under 10+2+5 pattern of study are eligible.

8. One must be currently working in schools (Primary / Middle / High School / Higher Secondary / Matriculation) in Tamil Nadu recognized by State / Central Government.
