Vacancy Details :
Number of post: 224 Posts

Name of post: Civil Judge Junior Division and Judicial Magistrate Fist Class.

Age limit:
Aspirants must be between 21 to 25 years

Educational Qualification:
Aspirants must have LLB degree with three years experiences as Attorney or Advocate as on 26th Feb 2014.

Pay scale:
Rs. 27700/- to Rs. 44770/- + Admissible Allowances.

Selection process:
Written test
Interview.

Important dates:
Last date for online registration: 18.03.2014
Date of examination: 07th June 2014

Maharashtra Public Service Commission invites application for recruitment of Civil Judge and Judicial Magistrate through Civil Judge Junior Division and Judicial Magistrate First Class Preliminary Exam from time to time .

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must have sufficient knowledge of Marathi to speak, read and write in Marathi and to translate with facility from Marathi into English and vice versa.

Age Limit :

Maximum 35 years (for Advocate, Attorney or Pleader)
Maximum 25 years (for Fresh Law Graduates)Maximum 45 years (for members of Ministerial Staff High Court/ Courts Subordinate to High Courts, staff working as Legal Assistant and above in the legal section of the Law and Judiciary Department in Mantralaya and Staff of the Office of the Government Pleaders attached to those courts)

Selection Procedure

Preliminary Examination (1 paper of 100 marks)
Main Examination (2 papers of 100 marks each)
Viva-Voce (50 marks).

Preliminary exam Duration : Two Hours

Objective type ( multiple choice question)

a) Evidence Act
b) Civil Procedure Code
c) Code of Criminal Procedure
d) Transfer of property Act
e) Specific Relief Act
f ) Maharashtra Rent Control Act
g) Limitation Act
h) Constitution of India
i) Indian penal Code
j) Law of Contracts, Sale of Goods Act & Partnership Act

I have cleared 3 years LLB, But in second Year I got One ATKT which i cleared In first Attempt, But in final year i m totally clear with more than 55% Aggregate, So Can i Able to Apply the Exam

I have completed my BSL LLB in the year of 2005 with 55%marks. And my age is 34 years. But i made my registration to the bar council of goa & maharashtra in this year that is 2016. Can i eligible for this exam?
