The qualification required for MPPSC (Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission) State Services Examination is as follows: Eligibility Conditions: Nationality: The candidate must be a citizen of India. Educational qualification: Any Graduate degree from recognized university. Age Criteria: Minimum: 21 years Maximum: 30 years Upper age relaxation for reserved category candidates is as follows: 3 years for OBC. 5 years for SC/ST 10 years for PWD. A candidate must be in a good mental and physical health and free from any physical defect Exam Pattern: Prelims Preliminary examination consists of two papers of objective type (multiple choice questions) and carries a maximum of 450 marks Paper I General Studies (2 hrs.) 150 Marks Paper II Optional Subject (2 hrs) 300 Marks Mains Mains examination is the written examination that consists of seven exam papers of conventional essay type questions where 3 subjects are compulsory and 4 are optional. Personal Interview Candidates need to obtain a minimum of 33% in each of the subject and in case of candidate belonging to SC/ST; qualifying marks would be 23%.
