Can you give me detail information about the Mphil course offered by Sambalpur University as my cousin wants to take admission in it?

Sambalpur University was established in 1967. Governor of Odisha is the Chancellor of the university. It offers undergraduate and post-graduate courses.. Admission to PG Diploma, MA, M Sc., M Tech, M.Phil, M.C.A, M.B.A and PhD courses are being conducted with an entrance exam.

Eligibility for Admission to M. Phil Courses

Applicants need to have passed Master degree Exam of Sambalpur University in the concerned subject or an exam recognized by Sambalpur University/UGC/AIU as equivalent thereto, having scored 50% marks in the aggregate or having secured an overall grade point average (OGPA) equivalent to50% of marks by conversion.

Applicants appeared the qualifying exam and waiting the results are also eligible to apply. Provided that the minimum qualifying mark incase of in service students shall be 50% marks in the aggregate for admission into M. Phil course in Library & Information Science)

Documents required for Admission
Admission to all M. Phil Courses is made by Post and not in person. The selected students need to send the following documents by Registered / Speed Post for admission to the respective Heads of the P.G. Departments.

(i) College Leaving Certificate in original from the Institution attended last;
(ii) Conduct Certificate in original from the Institution attended last;
(iii) Original Mark Sheets/Certificates starting from H.S.C to last qualifying exam.
(iv) Migration Certificate in original for students from other University.
(v) Two attested passport size (colour) photos.
(vi) Original Income Certificate (for female students claiming concession in tuition fee).
(vii) Original Caste Certificate relating to reserved categories.
(viii) Experience certificate and relief order for admission into M. Phil programme (only for in service teachers and professionals as the case may be).
(ix) Required fees.
