As you want to get the details of exam pattern of MP PET of Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board, Bhopal so here is the information of the same for you: Exam Pattern: Engineering applicants need to fill only PAPER 1 as option in the application form Engineering paper will be held in online mode and offline mode Exam shall be held in the month of April 2015 over a range of dates There will be two slots in the exam, morning and evening Morning slot will be from 9.30 am to 12.30 pm and evening slot will be from 2 pm to 5 pm Duration of the exam would be three hours or 180 minutes Question paper Questions in the exam would be asked from math, physics and chemistry. They will carry equal weightage. Total questions in the exam – 180. Total marks in the exam – (60×3 = 180). Type of questions to be asked would be objective type. Applicants have to mark one option out of given four. Online question paper will be shown on the monitor with one question at a time. Offline question paper will be presented in the form of a booklet Marking scheme For each correct answer, they will be given 1 mark For each wrong answer, ¼ marks will be deducted No marks will be cut for question that is not attempted Eligibility Criteria: Candidates must have passed class XII from Madhya Pradesh Secondary Board or any equivalent exam from a centrally recognized board. Candidates must have studied Physics, Chemistry and Math in the qualifying exam. Candidates must have passed class XII with a minimum aggregate of 55% marks. Candidate must not exceed the age of 21 years at the time of applying. Application Fees: Rs 500/= for General Candidates Rs 250/= for SC/ST and differently able candidates. Syllabus: Chemistry: The syllabus of chemistry consists following subjects- Chemistry in Action, Bio Molecules and Biological Processes, Surface Chemistry, Synthetic and Natural Polymers, Nuclear Chemistry, Coordination Chemistry and Organs Metallics, Transition Metals including Lanthanides, Chemistry of Representative Elements, Chemistry of heavier Metals and lighter Metals, Chemistry of Non-metals, Organic Chemistry, Magnetic Effects of Currents, Purification and Characterization of Organic Compounds, Hydrocarbons, Transference of Heat, Redox Reactions and Electrochemistry, Chemical Equilibrium, Chemical Energetics and Thermodynamics, Solutions, Chemical Bonding and Molecular structure, The Solid State, Atoms, Molecules and Chemical Arithmetic, States of Matter, Elements, their Occurrence and extraction, and Atomic Structures. Physics: Syllabus of physics includes-Solids and Semi-Conductor Devices, Atoms, Molecules and Nuclei, Electrons and Photons, Electromagnetic waves, Wave Optics, Ray Optics, Electromagnetic Induction and Alternating Currents, Magnetostatics, Thermal and Chemical Effects of Currents, Magnetic Effects of Currents, Electrostatics, Current Electricity, Heat and Thermodynamics, Oscillations, Properties of Matter, Laws of Motion, Rotational Motion and Moment of Inertia, Gravitation, and Description of Motion in one, Two and Three dimensions. Mathematics: Syllabus of mathematics comprises the study of following topics-Trigonometry, Statistics, which includes- Measures of Central Tendency and Dispersion, Probability, Vectors, Two and Three Dimensional Geometry, Calculus, Algebra consisting following topics- Sets, Relations and Functions, Sequences and Series, Matrices, Complex Numbers, Quadratic Equations, Permutations, Combinations, Binomial Theorem and Mathematical Induction.
