One has to normally have a good UK undergraduate honours degree, or an international equivalent degree, in an appropriate science related subject and/or significant proven professional experience in a relevant field.

Course description
This course provides graduates from Human Nutrition, or an appropriate science subject the opportunity to progress into community, industrial, research or academic positions in the health and nutrition sector.

The course will examine the proof supporting the relationship between nutrition, health and lifestyle. You will study a range of methods for assessing nutritional status and look in depth at the role of nutrition/diet in high risk and vulnerable groups.

The course will let an aspirant to undertake practical sessions, conducting research relating to functional foods and ingredients and explore the physiological implications of under and over nutrition throughout the life-cycle and in healthy/diseased states.
