Minimum Qualification For CLAT
I have done 12th PCM and now I have decided to apply for Common Law Admission Test (CLAT). Would you please tell me what is the Minimum Qualification required for CLAT Exam? Please provide me Exam date of CLAT this year and tell me how can I apply for it?

Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) is an all India level entrance exam. The exam is held for the candidates who are interested in undergraduate and postgraduate law programmes. Eligibility criteria : For UG Integrated Courses: Applicants must be passed the 12th examination with minimum 45% marks (40% for SC/ST Applicants). Applicants appearing the 12th examination in March/April will also be eligible for CLAT 2018. Such candidates have to produce the proof of passing the qualifying examination at the time of admission. For PG Courses: The prescribed qualification for LL.M. is LL.B./Five-Year Integrated LL.B. (Hons.)/ any other equivalent exam. Minimum percentage of marks in qualifying examination should be 55% for unreserved /OBC/Specially Abled Persons (SAP). In case of SC/ST, the minimum marks would be 50%. Applicants appearing in the qualifying exam in April/May 2018 may also apply. Exam Pattern For UG Courses: Courses: The online examination of CLAT will be held for integrated UG law courses. Mode of Examination: Exam will be held in online mode (Computer Based Test). Type of Questions: Only objective type questions of maximum 200 marks will be asked from each subject areas. Exam Duration: The duration of CLAT exam will be 2 hours. Question Paper Medium: The language of question paper will be English only. Marking Scheme: Each right answer will be awarded 1 mark. Negative Marking: There is a system of negative marking. 0.25 mark will be subtracted for each wrong answer. Subjects Number of Questions Maximum Marks English including Comprehension 40 Questions 40 Marks General Knowledge and Current Affairs 50 Questions 50 Marks Elementary Mathematics (Numerical Ability) 20 Questions 20 Marks Legal Aptitude 50 Questions 50 Marks Logical Reasoning 40 Questions 40 Marks Total 200 Questions 200 Marks For PG Courses: Courses: The online examination of CLAT will be held for post-graduate law courses (i.e. LL.M.). Mode of Examination: Exam will be held in online mode (Computer Based Test). Type of Questions: Only multiple-choice questions of maximum 150 marks will be asked from each subject areas. Exam Duration: The duration of CLAT exam will be 2 hours. Question Paper Medium: The language of question paper will be English only. Marking Scheme: Each right answer will be awarded 1 mark. Negative Marking: There is a system of negative marking. 0.25 mark will be subtracted for each wrong answer.
