Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad is a public business school located in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. It was the second Indian Institute of Management to be established, after IIM Calcutta.

About the Placement :

IM Ahmedabad had completed the final placement process for PGP batch of 2016 -18 in cluster-wise cohorts, with maximum offers from Accenture Strategy. Boston Consulting Group and Amazon made the second highest number of offers.

More than 47 firms hired from diverse sectors such as technology, banking, consulting, general management and analytics.

Cluster 1 comprised of three cohorts, investment banking and markets, management consulting and private equity, venture capital and hedge funds.

Cluster 2 comprised five cohorts - Consumer Goods, Consumer Services, Consumer Electronics, Retail B2B & Advisory Consulting. Airtel made the highest number of offers, which is 10, followed by Tata Administrative Services (TAS)

The third cluster comprised 10 cohorts, which included BFSI, Consumer Tech, Core Manufacturing, Education & Tech, Enterprise Tech, IT Consulting, Logistics, Pharma & Health Care, Renewable and GreenTech, Social Enterprise & NGO.
