Hello sir would you please tell me which is better between MBA vs Masters in Management? Tell me should I apply for an MBA or Master in management?

Masters in Management (MIM) are postgraduate programs in general management and it is ideal for fresh graduates and any one in the age group of 20 – 26 years. Master of Business Administration is a Postgraduate Academic Master Degree which is awarded for a course or program in Business Administration. An MIM Program usually follows 3 simple criteria: It is a postgraduate program It teaches General Management It is open to recent graduates Differences between MIM and MBA – Parameter: Average Age of students MIM: 23 years MBA: 27 to 32 years Parameter Work Experience MIM 0 to 2 yrs (25% of MIM students have 0 yrs of work experience) MBA: 3 to 5 yrs Parameter Program Length: MIM; 40 percent of MIM programs take up to a year to complete; 58 percent take more than a year but no more than two years. On average, fulltime MIM programs take 18 months to complete. MBA: Most European MBAs take about one year to complete and North American MBAs about two years. |
