WBJEE EVETS is conducted for admission to degree level course in Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry.

The Joint Entrance Examination for B.V.Sc. & A.H (EVETS) is directed by the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board (WBJEEB).

Eligibility Criteria.

Applicants must have passed H.S. (10+2) Examination with individual pass marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, English and Vernacular (or any other fifth subject) along with a minimum of 50% marks

For SC and ST Applicants the aforesaid percentage of marks will be 40% instead of 50%.

Applicants appearing in (10+2) examination in 2015 are also eligible to appear in EVETS-2015.

Applicants must have attained 17 years of age as on 1st July, 2015.

There is no upper age limit.

Exam Pattern

A written test was directed by West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board for EVETS.

Paper 1 – Biological Science of 100 marks

Paper 2 – Physics and Chemistry of 100 marks.

All the questions were Multiple Choice Questions type and were to be answered
