Eligibility for Merchant Navy after 12th
After 12th you can join Merchant Navy as an officer through various degree or diploma courses in mainly two specialized fields, Nautical (Deck) and Marine engineering

Unmarried Female and Male candidate are eligible

Age Limit:
Age should be between 16-25 Years

Medical Standards:
Candidates should be physically and mentally strong, fit for sea-services under standard norms

Eye-Sight :
6/6 without glasses, No color Blindness

You can join this through Deck cadet course

Deck cadet –
In this course you are given a diploma in Nautical Science.
The minimum education qualification for this course is 10+2 with P.C.M (Physics, Chemistry and Math) with minimum 50% in aggregate and 50% in English
