Merchant Navy after 12th and ITI

Hi I have completed 12th and ITI in Mechanical Diesel so can I eligible to apply for Merchant Navy?

Yeah of course you are eligible to apply for Merchant Navy after 12th.

Eligibility Criteria for Merchant Navy-

Passed class 12 (PCM) with at least 60% aggregate or some institutes also have 55% as minimum requirement.

The minimum requirement for joining the merchant navy as a deck cadet is you should have passed 12 months , which is offered by various institutes across India.

Duration of full training is 12 months.

Your age is between 17.5 to 25 Yrs

The age limit is relaxable by 2 years in case of female candidates.
Age relaxation of 5 years to SC/ST candidates.
