Mobile Van Dispensaries for JJ Clusters [Rs.346.00 lakh] Mobile Health Scheme was started in the year 1989 to provide medical services to the residents of JJ clusters of Delhi at their doorstep through mobile vehicles. Initially, the scheme was started with twenty hired vehicles. At present, under Mobile Health Scheme, 68 mobile dispensaries are being run. Out of which 44 dispensaries are being run by DHS staff and 24 with the help of NGOs and covering 450 JJ clusters of Delhi. One mobile dispensary team visits two JJ clusters per day. 2. Delhi State Health Mission [Rs.375.00 lakh] Delhi State Health Mission has been started in Delhi from October, 2006. Under this Mission, Janani Suraksha Yojana and Mamta schemes will be implemented vigorously. Under Janani Suraksha Yojana, cash incentive of Rs.600/- for urban areas and Rs. 700/- for rural areas is given for delivery and post delivery care for BPL/SC/ST categories in case of normal delivery. The benefit under the scheme is admissible up to two live births.
