Hello sir I want to know about the Mechanical Engineering Print Lab of Purdue so please provide me suitable information about this lab.

The Mechanical Engineering Print Lab is available to all current ME students.

To gain access to the facility, students must review the policies/procedures for the lab, read and understand the getting started manuals for the machines and software, and pass a final quiz.

Open Hours with Lab Assistants:

Monday -- 3:30PM-5:30PM

Tuesday -- 10:30AM-5:30PM

Thursday -- 10:30AM-5:30PM

Friday -- 12:30PM-5:30PM

Saturday -- 12:30PM-5:30PM

Lab is open to all ME students when Lab Assistant is present
Lab Documents

After you gain access to the print lab, you MUST swipe your card EVERY time you enter the lab.

Do NOT lend you ID to other students to get in

Do NOT follow another student in when they swipe

Do NOT prop the door open

No Food and/or Drink in the Lab

Machines MUST be attended at all times

You MUST clean up after yourself

Do NOT move machines, furniture (in or out of the room) or otherwise modify the machine, signs or items in the lab

Filament Policy:

Any filament needed for ME class projects is currently provided by the ME department.

If you have a personal project, you can ONLY use Makerbot ABS filament.
