I have completed my B.SC degree and planning to take lateral entry mechanical diploma admission in Sikkim Manipal University. Will you provide admission eligibility for this Mechanical Diploma course and also tell what the fees structure so I plan for admission?

Sikkim Manipal University doesn’t offer diploma course in B. Tech in Mechanical engineering rather it offers full time course or lateral entry B.Tech course.

Eligibility for lateral entry:

Eligibility

Candidates can apply for the direct entry to second year of Bachelor of Technology programme after fulfilling the following criteria:

(i) Three years diploma in appropriate branch of engineering with minimum 60% (55% for SC/ST/OBC candidates) marks in aggregate. Preference will be given to the candidates with the diploma in the same branch of engineering.

(ii) Three years' B Sc degree with Mathematics as one of the subjects, with minimum 60% (55% for SC/ST/OBC candidates) marks in aggregate.
