I want to get admission in law course in Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak so can you please provide me the details of entrance exam for admission?

MDU Law Entrance Test is a paper-pen based entrance test conducted by the Department of Law, Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak for admission to three-year LLB (Honors) and five-year LLB (Honors) courses offered by the university.

MDU Law Entrance Eligibility

For LLB (Hons) 3-year:

Bachelor/Master’s degree with at least 45% marks (40% for SC/ST candidates) in aggregate or any other equivalent examination

For LLB (Hons) 5-year:

Senior Secondary Examination (10+2) with at least 45% marks from Board of School Education Haryana, Bhiwani or any other equivalent examination

Last Date of submission of online application - 21.06.16

LL.B (Hons.) 5- year Integrated including UILMS, Gurgaon -

Date & time of Entrance Exam - 2.7.2016, (9.00 a.m to 10.15 a.m)

LL.B (Hons.) 3- year (Morning & Evening) (for Dept. of Law and UILMS, Gurgaon)

Date & time of Entrance Exam 05.07.16 (4.00 p.m.- 5.15 p.m.)

MDU Law Entrance Test Paper Pattern:-

For LLB (Hons) 3-year:

a) General English - 25 questions
b) General Hindi - 25 questions
c) General Knowledge - 50 questions

The General Knowledge area will cover the following fields of knowledge:

1) Current Events of National and International Importance
2) General Science
3) History of India
4) Geography
5) Indian Polity & Economy

Standard of questions will be as may be expected of a graduate

For LLB (Hons) 5-year:

a) Legal Aptitude - 20 questions
b) Reasoning - 20 questions
c) General English- 20 questions
d) General Hindi- 20 questions
e) General Knowledge- 20 questions

The General Knowledge area will cover the following fields of knowledge:-

1) Current Events of National and Inter-national Importance
2) General Science
3) History of India
4) Geography
5) Indian Polity & Economy

The standard of questions will be that of 12th standard as prescribed by the Board of School of Education, Haryana.
