VTU University offers minimum of 3 year duration’s Master of Computer Applications (MCA) program .

MCA Program
Eligibility for admission:

Candidates must have Bachelor Degree with minimum of 50% of the marks in aggregate.

Candidate must study Mathematics or Statistics or Computer Science or Computer Programming or
Computer Applications or Business Mathematics or Business Statistics as one of the optional or elective subject in Bachelor degree course.

Eligibility for Passing the course:

For pass in theory subject:

Candidate must obtain a minimum of 40% of marks in the University Examination .

Secure minimum of 50% of marks in aggregate including the Internal Assessment marks in each subject .

Top Pass in Practical Sessions:
Candidate shall obtain a minimum of 40% of marks in each laboratory examination conducted by the University.

Aggregate of 50% of marks including Internal Assessment marks.

Minimum of 50% of marks has to be obtained in seminar, dissertation (viva voce) and dissertation (IA marks) separately.
