I have completed 12th and now want to do MBBS from the Amrita University so please tell me some details about its admission process from where can I get its admission form? Is there any entrance exam to get admission in MBBS course in Amrita University?

The Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham offers Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery MBBS program of duration five-and-a-half year.

MBBS program

The five-and-a-half year program in Medicine, including a year of internship, involves both theory classes and practical sessions.

Clinical exposure begins in the second year with classes conducted by clinical specialists emphasizing the relevance of the basic sciences to clinical practices.

Eligibility-

Candidates should have qualified 12th or equivalent exam.

Subjects Should be Chemistry, Physics, Biology/Biotechnology with English as a compulsory subject.

10+2 appearing students are also eligible to apply.

In the qualifying exam (PCB group), students should have obtained at least 50% marks for general, 45% marks for general-PH and 40% marks for SC/ST & OBC.

Age Limit:

Candidates must born on or between 07.05.1993 and 01.01.2002 for General category.

Candidates must born on or between 07.05.1988 and 01.01.2002 for SC/ST/OBC/PwD category.

Admission criteria-

National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) UG 2018 qualified candidates are eligible for admissions to MBBS for the academic year 2018-19.

Selection & counselling for admissions of General and NRI candidates is done only from DGHS, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, New Delhi.
