MBBS is an abbreviation for Medicinae Baccalaureus, Baccalaureus Chirurgiae it is the degree given to doctors.as you want to get admission in MBBS course I am here giving some details about it.

MBBS Course detail:
Duration: Four & Half Years + 1 Year Internship
Eligibility: Minimum age of 17 years and
Candidates having 50% marks together in Physics, Chemistry
& Biology at 10+2 level
or
any equivalent exam and must have English as a subject.
Entrance exam:
One should appear in common entrance exam (Karnataka CET) for MBBS Admission --- for Karnataka candidates.
COMEDK examination.---- for non Karnataka candidates.

On the basis of the ranks in the Karnataka CET exam and in COMEDK exam college is allotted to the candidates.

Karnataka Examinations Authority organized and conducted CET the state level common entrance test to admit students to medical and dental courses in Karnataka.

Eligibility:
1.The candidate is required to pass Karnataka 2 PUC/12th standard or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as optional subject and English with one of the languages of study.
2.candidate must have secured 50% marks in aggregate.

Application Form:
Application Form with Brochure be supplied through the schools/colleges located within State of Karnataka upon a submission of Demand Draft of Rs. 550/- in favour of “The Executive Director, Karnataka Examinations Authority, Bangalore”, payable at Bangalore
