The eligibility required for admission in Government Medical Colleges in India as your Brother wants to take admission in it is as follows:

Eligibility:

Applicant must be 17 years old as on or before December 31 of the year of admission.

The upper age limit for Applicants who take admission under 15% All India Quota Seats is 25 years as on December 31 of the year of the entrance examination.

A relaxation of 5 years in upper age limit is provided to applicants belonging from SC/ST/OBC.

Applicants will be appearing for the intermediate exam and whose result is awaited, are eligible to apply for the entrance exam.

Candidates need to pass the following subjects-
Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English in the qualifying exam by scoring 50% marks or equivalent as determined as per regulations of Medical Council of India and the concerned university.
