Re: MBA vs ias
Hello dear, both are different choices in their fields. The IAS is provides you government job to secure your life in other hand the MBA are provides you knowledge of business education. It all depends on what want to do in your life. Indian Administrative Service is a reputed and respected career option as the IAS officers are the one who steers the administrative mechanism. Both are good, however it depends on what is the current need and future requirement behind eating those fruits. IAs is about government services and MBA is about private industry services. Both services are different than each other in all aspects. If you want to be agent of some real change happening in society, you can go for IAS. If you want government job then go for IAS. Doing government job are too at high position after fixed amount of time IAS. The IAS will guarantee that your life after engineering will be growing at constant rate. Also competition will be very high. You will have one job and changing career/job will be difficult. An MBA from a reputable institution has good scope. This depends on the ranking of the institution and the discipline of specialization. If you are interested in management and administration you will probably choose to pursue an MBA. An MBA deals with the business side of profession, different aspects of business strategy, making management decisions, understanding project viability, finance and cost involved, marketing strategy, market conditions etc. MBA Features: Indias MBA dream loses some of its lustre The Prince of Liechtenstein on leadership Baffling business school names Wells Fargo chiefs rise to the top MBAs write an alternative school report Moocs: Learning becomes a joy again The business of reputation management A way into the hearts and minds of managers IAS Features: Leadership Administration Decisive in Approach Knowledgeable Hard Working & Committed Honesty Good Communication Skills Out of the Box Thinking Work Ethics Patriotism |
