University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC) is regionally accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education. The Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE) is an institutional accrediting agency recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education and the Council for Higher Education Accreditation.

MBA Preparatory Studies Program

The M.B.A. preparatory studies program is available in any major to plan to pursue an M.B.A after graduation from UMBC. The curriculum is designed to meet the coursework requirements for entry into the M.B.A. program at many graduate business schools including The Robert H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland College Park.
