The stress that comes with an MBA education can be brutal. Whether its studying for exams, balancing projects and extracurriculars, or landing a job, an MBA can easily weigh heavily on mental health. Reet Sen experienced the stress and anxiety of an MBA first-hand.

The number of students who are affected by anxiety, depression and even commit suicide seems to be on the rise in the city.

Psychologists in the city say that the number of students who come to them are increasing. Earlier, people considered such problems as taboo and many serious problems went unnoticed. But, with greater awareness, this social stigma is disappearing.

Though there could be different reasons for issues of depression, anxiety, addiction, eating disorders, sleep disorders and suicide, these could be addressed with professional support.

counselling cell which is part of the Social Work department. It works in the client and counsellor relationship where students are considered clients. Students are made aware of such a service available at the college and they voluntarily come to discuss their issues, if any.

Tips to Overcome :


1) Breathe. When you feel your test anxiety creeping up, its easy to lose control of your thoughts and begin imagining all the possible things that could go wrong. No matter where you are, whether it be studying at the library or in the test room about to start the test

) Make sure you are fully equipped: you may Have Good Study Material And you Should Complete your Projects on Time
Through a series of video lessons, essay reviews, practice tests, and valuable webinars, students are offered all of the resources they may need to successfully study

Buy a calendar and use it., you will know exactly what you should be studying; all you have to do is figure out which days you plan to study on and how long you want to study for. By having a calendar hung up in your room, you are forced to stick to your study plans and not go off track.
