Re: MBA Peace Corps Program

The Middlebury Institute has a longtime connection with the Peace Corps, going back 20 years. The Institute is regarded by the Peace Corps as a model PCMI program.

Program details:

Students enroll in the One Year or 20-month MBA degree, including a specialized track and capstone project. Students then fulfill 27 months of Peace Corps service (3 months of training in country followed by 24 months of service).

Upon completion of service, students return to the Institute campus for one final semester (in most cases), either in fall or spring.

Peace Corps service satisfies the language degree requirement for the MBA program.

The Peace Corps Assignment

MBA Peace Corps volunteers work in a variety of fields such as business consulting, NGO development, small enterprise development, and privatization. Typical projects include:

Ecotourism
