North Eastern Hill University (NEHU) is a Central University established on 19 July 1973 by an Act of the Indian Parliament. The university is approved by University Grants Commission UGC.

The department offers a two (2) years full time program for the aspired students.

The department offers dual specialization in the following papers:

Human Resource Management
Financial Management
Agri-Business Management.

MBA eligibility-

Graduation in any stream with a minimum of 50 % (45% for SC/ST) marks.

The students are enrolled based on MAT score, Group Discussion and Personal Interview.
