Re: MBA MFE Program

MBA is a business education, while the MFE is specializing in training senior financial personnel of special education. Master of Financial Engineering courses all focus on the financial sector.

MBA elective courses in finance cover much of the material in the MFE degree, but do so at a much less advanced level. It follows that if students complete the two degrees consecutively.

Master of Financial Engineering (MFE) degree is a one-year graduate degree. Students in the MFE program learn to employ financial economics, mathematics, and computer modeling skills to make pricing, hedging, trading, risk management, project evaluation, and portfolio management decisions.

Course subjects of MBA MFE program detail:

MBA-Finance
Business Strategy Operations Management, Entrepreneurship, Marketing, Organizational Behavior, Ethics

MFE
Credit Risk Modeling, Numerical Finance, Derivatives & Modeling, Data Analysis, Computer Science Fundamental, Programming in C, Computational Finance, Applied Finance Project

MFE is not suitable for those people in University. MFE study is one year, and MBA courses are usually required coverage for two years.
