Kumaun University, Nainital was established in 1973. Kumaun University, a residential-cum-affiliating university established under the Act of State Legislature and is a permanent member of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).

The Department of Management Studies (DMS) was established in 1997 under the aegis of the University Grants Commission (U.G.C.)
The Department offers two programmes in management
MBA 2 Year Full Time Programme
MBA Integrated Five year Programme

Eligibility
Candidate must done 10+2 with 50% marks & English as a subject. There is 5% relaxation for SC/ST candidates.
