Can you tell me about the admission criteria for admission in MBA (Master in Business Administration) course offered by IMT or Institute of Management Technology?

IMT or Institute of Management Technology offer PGDM or Post Graduate Diploma in Management course which is also a 2 year Management course and not MBA (Master in Business Administration) course.

The courses offered in the first year, divided into four terms, are compulsory for all the students in PGDM or Post Graduate Diploma in Management course.

In the second year, divided into three terms, all students undertake compulsory core courses and opt for specialization courses according to different areas of specialization.

There are 28 compulsory core and 14 specialization courses spread across two years.

Admissions Criterion

Applicants for PGDM programs must have a minimum three-year Bachelor's degree or equivalent with minimum 50% aggregate marks in any discipline.

One who is appearing for the final-year degree examination can also apply.

To apply for IMT Ghaziabad’s 2 year PGDM program, one must be registered for CAT 2015 or XAT 2016 or have taken the GMAT (January 1, 2012 – March 31, 2016).

For candidates applying on the basis of GMAT/CMAT and score not provided, processing of application will be provisional, subject to IMT receiving the official scores by April 15, 2016

CMAT 2016 test will be considered for IMT Nagpur and IMT Hyderabad Campus only.

To apply for IMT Nagpur and Hyderabad’s 2 year PGDM program, applicants must be registered for CAT 2015 or XAT 2016 or CMAT 2016 test or have taken the GMAT (1st January 2012 – 31 March 2016).

For candidates applying on the basis of GMAT/CMAT and score not provided, processing of application will be provisional, subject to IMT receiving the official scores by April 15, 2016
