I would like to know the eligibility criteria and the application process for the MBA program offerdd by Punjab University for Distance Education?

Eligibility Criteria for PU MBA (executive) Entrance Test 2015

A Bachelor’s or Master Degree in any regulation of Punjab University or a degree of any other University which has been acknowledged by Punjab University as corresponding thereto with at least 50% scores in aggregate;

in case of applicants having Bachelor’s degree of the University through Modern Indian Language [Hindi/Urdu/Punjabi (Gurmukhi Script)] and/or in a Classical Language (Sanskrit/Persian/Arabic) or degree of any other University obtained in the same manner acknowledged by the association, 50% marks in the aggregate shall be considered by taking into account full percentage of marks in all the papers in Language excluding the additional optional paper, English and the elective subject taken together.

A pass in ultimate examination conducted by the (a) Institute of Chartered Accountants of India or England (b) Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India or England, and (c) Institute of Company Secretaries of India.
AMIE test with 50% scores or more after having passed the diploma examination with 60% scores or above and have at least 5 years research/teaching of professional experience.

Concession of 5% marks will be allowed in the eligibility requirements for SC/ST/BC candidates

Entrance Test Scheme for PU MBA (executive) Entrance Test

The Entrance Test will hold 100% weightage and will be of 2 hours duration consisting of 100 questions. It will consist of multiple-choice questions having four options A, B, C & D.

The syllabus of the test will include:

Data interpretation and problem solving

Numerical Ability; Verbal Ability/ Reasoning; and

General English & Comprehension

There will be 25 questions in each section.

How to Apply for PU MBA (executive) Entrance Test

The applicants have to fill and submit the application form online through the official website which looks like the image attached


The last date for submission of information on the website to generate the Bank Challan would be available at the website.

How to Apply For Admission to MBA program:

After the announcement of the result, the successful applicants will have to follow the procedure for admission to MBA (Executive).

The declaration of result and the details of this procedure will be available at official website of the university.

The procedure will involve filling and submitting admission form, examination form etc and payment of tuition fees.
