The University of Kwa Zulu-Natal was fashioned on 1 January 2004 as a result of the merger between the University of Durban-Westville and the University of Natal.

The new university brings together the rich histories of both the former Universities.

As per your requirement here is the MBA Structure

Duration

The MBA is a minimum two and a half year program.

The first two years consist of module completion and the 3rd year consists of one elective module and the conclusion of a dissertation.

Lectures-

Part-Time Programme:

MBA lectures are held at the Westville Campus only, from Monday to Thursday, 18h00 to 20h30. Students can be necessary to attend additional lectures on Friday evenings or Saturday mornings.

Participation in field trips, digressions and attendance of additional presentations outside of the lecture theatre may be required.

Block Release Programme:

MBA lectures are held on the Westville Campus only.

Assessment

Students are frequently assessed during the semester for each subject.

Assessments may take the form of tests, assignments and presentations.

Group work plays a large role in this program.

Examinations are written at the end of each semester.

Course Structure and Content

The MBA is a two and a half year program.

The 1st and 2nd years of the program consists of 4 semesters of course work.

There are 15 subjects and 2 electives.

Students are able to choose their electives from a list of 7 possible subjects.

The 3rd year comprises of 1 optional module as well as a critique taken over a minimum of one semester (6 months).
