About Asbestos Awareness Training, Industry Based Short Courses: The aim of this course is to provide you with an awareness of the hazards and health effects of asbestos and its possible location in Canberra ACT homes and the community. Course CONTENT Understanding the risks, health hazards and effects of asbestos Identify Asbestos Containing Materials (ACMs) & their location in a building Manage the correct procedure for the reporting of asbestos.
