MBA Admission In IIT Roorkee

I have completed my BBA and want to do MBA from the IIT Roorkee please tell me the admission procedure for MBA at IIT Roorkee? Is there any entrance exam I have to give for IIT Roorkee for taking admission in MBA degree? Also tell me different faculties available for MBA at IIT Roorkee?

The Dept. of Management Studies, Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee offers Master of Business Administration (MBA) program of duration 2 years

MBA Admission-

The Master of Business Administration (MBA) at IIT Roorkee is a 4 semester residential regular program spread over two academic years.

Number of Seats: The number of seats available in the MBA Program is presently 95

Eligibility Criteria-

Bachelors degree in any discipline of Engineering/Technology with first class or its equivalent, or a masters degree with first class or equivalent in any discipline from a recognized institution or university

Final year students are also eligible to apply

Candidates of General/OBC category seeking admission to the MBA programme must have at least 60% marks or CGPA of 6.00 on a 10-point scale at qualifying degree level; but for SC/ST/PD category candidates, this percentage is 55% or 5.50 CGPA on a 10-point scale

Selection Procedure-

The final merit for making offers of admission to the program will be on the basis of their aggregate performance in the CAT 2017 followed by group discussion, interview and their work experience as per respective weightage given below:

CAT Percentile 65%;

Group discussions 10%;

Interview 20%;

Work Experience 5%;

Candidates will have to appear for interview/GD at IITR at their own expense

For GEN/OBC Candidates - Rs.1600/-

For SC/ST/PD Candidates - Rs.800/-
