Re: MATLAB Classes Online
MATLAB is a special-purpose language that is an excellent choice for writing moderate-size programs that solve problems involving the handling of numbers. Its design of the language makes it possible to write a powerful program in a few lines. The problems can be fairly complex, while the MATLAB programs that solve them are relatively simple: relative that is, to the correspondent program written in a general-purpose language, such as C++ or Java. So, it is being used in a wide variety of domains from the natural sciences through all disciplines of engineering to finance and beyond, and it is heavily used in industry. Hence, there is a solid background in MATLAB is an vital skill in today’s job market. Course Syllabus The course is divided into the following 8 weekly modules: Week 1: Introduction to MATLAB Week 2: Matrices and Operators Week 3: Functions Week 4: Programmer’s Toolbox Week 5: Selection Week 6: Loops Week 7: Data Types Week 8: File Input/Output Course Format The class consists of lecture videos containing 1-2 integrated quiz questions per video. There is also being separate programming assignments that are not part of video lectures. |
