The Delhi University provides MA in English. The university provides direct admission and admission through entrance exam.

Eligibility:
Direct admission:
Candidates must have done B.A. (Hons.) in English from University of Delhi with 60% or above (General Category /OBC) & 55% marks & above for SC/ST/PH.

Admission through Entrance Test:

For Admission through Entrance Test, candidates should have done B.A. (Hons.) in English from University of Delhi with 45% & above or bachelor degree from any recognized University with 50% & above.


The entrance test has three following parts:

Part A: objective type questions
Part B: a question on an unseen passage of prose or verse
Part C: a short essay question on a general literary topic
